The components of Wire Rope Electric Hoist are: motor, transmission mechanism, drum and wire rope. The motor and reel can be divided into four types according to their different positions.

Its main disadvantages are poor motor heat dissipation conditions, poor grouping, inconvenient inspection, installation, and maintenance of the motor, and complicated power supply devices.
