The Hybrid vertebra polyurethane bending restrictor is made of steel and polyurethane segments, providing the advantages of both materials in deep water, high-load applications. The hybrid vertebra bending limiter uses a steel segment near the structural support interface of the component, and a distance from the interface of the VBR component.
