Polyurethane J-tube seals are used to provide sealing and corrosion protection between flexible umbilical cables, cables or pipelines and so-called J-type or I-type pipes found in offshore installations in the field of oil and gas and renewable energy.
As an additional component of the J-shaped seal, the curved stiffener is the conical length of the polyurethane tube. As the material becomes thicker, the polyether tube gradually hardens. This project is most commonly used to install cables onto J-tubes to provide additional protection during cable installation and service life.
