The difference between polyurethane casters and nylon casters
1. Nylon casters are an important branch product of abrasives. The nylon wheel products are mainly composed of nylon fiber mesh, grinding media (ore), adhesive resin and other main components, and can add heat-absorbing additives, fillers, pigments and other additives. Nylon is a general term for polymers containing amide groups in the repeating units of the main chain of macromolecules.
2. Polyurethane is a polymer. Because it contains strong polar carbamate groups and is insoluble in non-polar groups, it has good oil resistance, toughness, abrasion resistance, aging resistance and adhesion. It is suitable for materials with a wide temperature range (-50~150℃) and can be made of different materials, including elastomers, thermoplastic resins and thermosetting resins. It is not resistant to hydrolysis or alkaline media at high temperatures.
3. Nylon casters generally have higher hardness, more wear resistance and better load bearing. Polyurethane casters are softer than nylon casters in terms of strength, but the noise reduction effect is much better, and the overall capacity is higher.
