| Maintenance of Indoor Double Girder Overhead Crane
Indoor double girder overhead cranes are widely used in factory workshops, warehousing logistics and production line auxiliary operations, which are crucial to ensure material handling efficiency and safety. Scientific and standardized maintenance can not only extend the life of the equipment, but also reduce downtime and improve production continuity.
Daily inspection and maintenance
● Check whether the welds, bolt connections and metal components are cracked, loose or corroded.
● Run the test without load, pay attention to whether the bridge and trolley run smoothly, and whether there are abnormal noises, jumps or oscillations.
● Observe whether the upper and lower limits and the end beam travel limit movements are sensitive and reliable.
Lubrication and transmission system maintenance
● Regularly add oil or grease to the bridge travel wheels, reducers, gear transmission parts and wire rope/chain pulleys according to the manufacturer's lubrication chart.
● Use oil-free or low-residue lubricants that meet clean requirements to avoid polluting the surrounding environment.
● Replace the gearbox lubricant every quarter, and check the oil quality, oil quantity and oil seal integrity.
● Remove impurities and iron filings to ensure smooth transmission and stable efficiency.
Electrical system and control device
● Test the button box, remote control and control system to ensure sensitivity and reliability.
● Check the electromagnetic brake clearance, braking force and wear, and adjust or replace the brake pads if necessary.
● Verify the upper and lower limit switches and the travel limit action travel and electrical interlock to ensure accurate shutdown.
Wire rope and lifting mechanism
● Check the surface wear, wire breakage and corrosion of the wire rope; for the chain hoist, check whether the chain is deformed and extended.
● Check the hook deformation, cracks and safety buckle action, and perform non-destructive testing or replacement if necessary.
Common faults and treatments
● Crane shakes a lot during operation: adjust the track level or replace the wheel
● Brake failure: replace the liner or add hydraulic oil
● Motor overheating: reduce the load or clean the motor heat dissipation channel
