Working principle of electric hoist

First start the lifting motor to lift the weight to an appropriate height, then start the running motor to transport the weight to the specified position, and the running trolley runs on the lower edge of the single I-beam. When traveling, a motor is used to drive the wheels on both sides of the running trolley. Because the traveling speed is relatively small, the running trolley is generally not equipped with a braking mechanism. An electromagnetic brake is set on the lifting mechanism to prevent heavy objects from falling when the running trolley is walking. Braking is to compress the inner and outer discs by the pressure of the spring. The principle is similar to that of the friction clutch. When loosening, the electromagnetic iron is used to absorb the outer disc after being energized to loosen the inner and outer discs. The circuit of the electromagnetic brake is connected in parallel with the circuit of the lifting motor. Therefore, as long as the lifting motor is started, the electromagnetic brake is released to make the weight rise and fall freely: when the motor is closed, the electromagnetic brake is also powered off, and the electromagnetic attraction disappears. Under the pressure of the spring, the inner and outer discs are tightly pressed to play the role of braking.
